Free Printable Sudoku Puzzles
Sudoku Learn lets you print the same unique puzzle you play in the browser. Pick a difficulty, wait for the grid to generate, then print a blank 9×9 board for paper solving. There is no account and no separate PDF file — printing uses your browser’s print dialog.
How to print a Sudoku puzzle
- 01
Open Play and choose Easy, Medium, Hard, or Expert.
- 02
Wait until the unique puzzle finishes generating.
- 03
Choose Print Puzzle to open the browser print dialog (givens only).
- 04
Print on paper, or save as PDF if your device’s print dialog offers that option.
What you can print
During a game, Print Puzzle outputs the blank grid: starting clues only, with site chrome hidden so the board is readable on A4 or letter paper. After you finish, Print Result includes the completed grid and your time. On-screen pencil marks are not copied to the printout — mark candidates by hand on paper.
Why print as well as play online
Paper is useful in class, on a flight, or whenever you want to step away from a timer. Online play still gives instant conflict highlights, hints, and a new unique grid every time. Use both: generate here, print if you want a physical copy. Puzzles stay free; printing does not require a download app.
Print by difficulty
Each landing page explains that level in full. From there, start a game and print. Easy has more givens; Expert has the fewest.
Printing FAQ
- Is printable Sudoku on Sudoku Learn really free?
- Yes. You can generate and print as many puzzles as you like without creating an account.
- Do you offer a PDF download?
- Not as a separate file. Use your browser’s print dialog — many devices can “Save as PDF” from there. The puzzle itself is generated on the site, then sent to print.
- Can I print Easy through Expert?
- Yes. Start a game at any difficulty, then use Print Puzzle. You can also open the Easy, Medium, Hard, or Expert pages first if you want background on that level.
- Does the printed page include ads or the website header?
- Print styling hides the header, footer, and controls so the 9×9 board is the main content on paper.
Print Puzzle is on the Play screen after the grid appears.
